Veteran Benefits FAQs

Do I need a medical exam to qualify?

No exam required. Most plans approve instantly after a few quick yes or no questions about your health. No doctors, no waiting. You can start coverage right away, even with current health conditions.

Can I get coverage if I already have VA benefits?

Yes. You can still get coverage even if you already have VA benefits.
VA benefits are limited and only cover up to about $2,000 for burial costs. Our life insurance plans help fill the gap by covering funeral expenses, remaining debts, and income protection so your family isn’t left struggling financially.

Will my rates go up as I get older?

Never. Your rate is locked in from day one and will never increase as you get older or if your health changes.

How long does it take to see if I qualify and get covered?

It’s quick, usually less than 10 minutes.
Once you qualify, a state licensed insurance advisor will walk you through your options and answer any questions. You will also have a dedicated contact for ongoing reviews and support whenever you need it.

Doesn't the VA pay for my funeral expenses?

The VA does help, but it only goes so far.
The Veterans Administration pays up to about $2,000 toward burial costs. Since most funerals in the United States cost between $10,000 and $15,000, many veterans choose an affordable life insurance plan that covers the remaining costs and leaves money for their families.

How soon do the benefits payout?

Right away.
Many programs, including VA-sponsored options, delay benefits for at least two years.
We partner with multiple leading carriers to find day-one coverage, so your loved ones are protected the moment your policy takes effect.
